Taylor Swift surprises United States war veteran with private performance

So despite a cancer diagnosis for the World War II veteran, Cyrus is living each day with gusto and faith, while still listening to his favorite music artist, Taylor Swift.

The footage shows Taylor Swift entering Cyrus' home followed by her camera crew. On Monday, 96-year-old Cyrus Porter discovered that it pays to be the oldest Swifty on the planet.

The war hero looked beyond stunned as the blonde babe arrived at his family home to play a few of her smash hit tunes. Taylor Swift surprised her 96-year-old fan this Christmas. The seeds of this surprise apparently were sown in a local news story that talked about Porter's status as a Swift super-fan.

In his interview, which went viral over the weekend, Porter said Swift "puts on a show no one else puts on", which is why he's one of her biggest fans.

As evidenced by their social media posts over the weekend, a lot of celebrities are into the holidays, but if you ask me, none more than Taylor Swift.

'I've been to two concerts, ' he said. Caroline Fowler, a family member said, according to E! Thankfully, the sweet interview went viral and the star made a decision to surprise Porter, and almost 60 of his relatives, while they celebrated the holiday season at his home.
