Video released to the public shows the four-year old girl trying to carefully walk down some stairs before Gable steps into the frame. "I just watched you on camera do it, '" Tavares continued.

According to reports, Gable pushed the child down a small flight of stairs the afternoon of Friday, March 3 at Childcare of the Future in Clifton Heights.

After the incident, Gable looked up at the camera realizing she had been recorded.

In the video, 52-year-old Sarah Gable violently pushes the little girl down the stairs before looking up at the camera.

Shawayne Tavares, a manager at the center, said she witnessed the incident unfold via the surveillance video in real time. The child is back at the daycare.

The four-year-old suffered a knee injury from the fall, and returned to the daycare center the next day with the incident still fresh in her mind. "She has had no prior contact with the criminal justice system", he said.
