'Justice League' trailer: The DC superheroes unite, minus Superman

Posted March 29, 2017

Woohoo! Warner Bros. has just dropped the first trailer of their full-feature length film Justice League and does it look dope or what!

The two and a half minute video opens with Ben Affleck as Batman, telling Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot) that they need to prepare for an attack coming from far away.

The trailer packs a lot of introductions and substance into it, as we see introductions to Aquaman, The Flash and Cyborg, who are the three characters set to make a substantial DC Extended Universe debut.

A montage of the heroes teaming up to battle enemies follows while a cover of the Beatles'Come Together plays in the background. Amy Adams appears as Lois Lane while J.K. Simmons will be playing Commissioner Gordon. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes-Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash-it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.

I'm sure they would have loved seeing me in action, but I feel super grateful for everyone that came this weekend and supported me.

Justice League is directed by Zack Snyder (Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Man of Steel) off of a script from Chris Terrio (Batman v Superman, Argo).

Between Aquaman free-riding on the Batmobile to Batman admitting his only superpower is his wealth, "Justice League" has the momentum trending on its side early on.

Justice League is going to hit the big screen later this year on November 17th.

As for Superman's return, Justice League director Zac Snyder has said how it's been hard to make the film without him.
