Microsoft has set a release-date for the Windows 10 Creators Update, which will begin its roll out around the world on April 11, 2017.

Most of the new features in the Creators Update are relatively minor, but welcome additions. As Neowin points out, the versions now available are likely the near-final "release to manufacturing" versions, so you can start playing around with Paint 3D, Beam for game broadcasting, streamlined messaging, and everything else that's included. Built on the Universal Windows Platform and offered through the Windows Store, Paint 3D can be used to create and share 3D models from any Windows device. It's all easily done and you can even drag your drawing into reality with the help of a 3D printer, if you just happen to have one of those lying around. Here's another opportunity to flaunt your creative talents and have some fun via the Windows Ink tool inside the Photos app. Then when you playback the saved video, those annotations appear with a fun animation. Microsoft is not commenting on when that phone app will be available. It's a competitor to Twitch (owned by Amazon) and YouTube (owned by Google). Starting with Windows 10, privacy setup options are much clearer, and now there's an online Privacy dashboard at account.microsoft.com/privacy that lets you see what data Microsoft saves to the cloud and lets you clear search history, location data, and more. When you lock your computer and return within 30 minutes, Cortana will notify you of your most recent documents and Edge browser history from a previous work session. When you're ready to return to trip planning, hit an adjacent icon to restore those tabs you've set aside. You will be able to control your anti-virus, network and firewall protection, and set the security controls for your applications and browser from this one view.

So let's take a closer look at a few of those key IT Pro focused enhancements in next month's Creators Update. Unfortunately, Windows didn't do a good job of letting me know which driver needed updating. "Once you've enabled Game Mode, you can apply it to any game", claimed Mehdi.

In the latest update, the bodies of seven pupils and one teacher, mostly from Otawara High School in Tochigi, had been found. Prime Minister Shinzo Abe spoke of the disaster in Parliament, saying officials were "making every effort to respond".

Microsoft is also looking to pitch Windows 10 as a gaming environment with the long-planned Windows 10 Game Mode, which promises to dedicate more system resources to PC games. Computer displays emit blue light, which can keep you awake at night.

The new features are designed around encouraging gamers to stream more often, providing easier access to those aspects of the UI. You can schedule the hours when the night light feature kicks in.

These VR headsets will contain built-in sensors to enable inside-out, six-degrees of freedom, allowing for easy setup and free movement without the need for external markers or sensors in the wall.

However, when you boil it down to the nuts and bolts for IT Pros you arrive in the realm of focusing on what will make the OS more secure for their users and the company overall.
