The first The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild DLC detailed

Posted May 03, 2017

Nintendo stated they will reveal more information about The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild - The Master Trials DLC in the future, but we're happy with the details we've got for now.

The Master Trials DLC will available for purchase for $19.99 this summer, with no specific date or time provided by Nintendo. The Expansion Pass also grants owners access to three treasure chests available at any time, and a second DLC pack coming over the 2017 holiday period.

That's a massive amount of content for a DLC pack, which should put to rest any concern that Nintendo would simply toss in a new hard mode and charge $19.99.

Aside from the new armors, the upcoming DLC for Legend Of Zelda Breath Of The Wild will also include Hard mode, and as the name suggests, this mode will offer a greater challenge throughout the game.

The new Hero's Path feature allows you to track your steps from the last 200 hours (!) of gameplay, making it easy to look back on your adventure so far and figure out what spots on the map you haven't visited yet. Hidden in a chest somewhere in Hyrule, this medallion has the power to create one (and only one) temporary new travel point on the map.

Trial of the Sword will include a gauntlet of enemies that appear one after another. You start the challenge with no weapons or equipment.

Stroman raced home from second when shortstop Aledmys Diaz threw wide of first on Ezequiel Carrera's two-out bouncer for St. All Coghlan had to do then was stick the landing. "It used to just be if he's in the line, you run him over", Coghlan said.

Of course the best has to be Majora's Mask, which I'm hoping gives Link some sort of power to drop moons on enemies that are just giving you too much hassle. So, you'll have to clear all 45 rooms and at the end, the Master Sword becomes very powerful. Throughout the overworld, floating planks held up by balloons will house enemies and treasures. Link can then transport himself to that point at any time.

In its current state The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is just about a survival game, so the idea of tough enemies whilst battling the elements and stuff like hunger and fatigue would be an interesting spin. There is also a korok mask that helps reveal korok puzzles.

Somewhere in the world, there is a chest with a Travel Medallion inside.

As the first DLC pack in the Zelda series, The Master Trials has a lot riding on it.

Nintendo announced earlier this year that The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild would be the first Zelda game to feature downloadable content. It has a one-off use, which places a fast travel point on the map. And lastly, the new equipment will be themed on characters like Midna and Tingle, as well as games like Phantom Hourglass and Majora's Mask. Well, now Nintendo is adding even more to the game via DLC Pack 1.
