New York's 16 runs are its most since April 6 of last season.

Judge hit his major league-leading 19th home run and NY connected five times in all, battering Chris Tillman and the Baltimore Orioles 16-3 on Saturday night for their fourth straight win.

New York Yankees manager Joe Girardi announced before Friday's game that starting pitcher Masahiro Tanaka will have his start pushed back from Sunday to Monday.

Hicks has enjoyed a terrific start to the 2017 campaign as well, and he added to it during Friday night's 8-2 win over the Orioles.

Hicks batted.217 with eight homers and 31 RBIs for the Yankees a year ago after arriving in a trade with Minnesota for reserve catcher John Ryan Murphy, who began the day hitting.204 in Triple-A.

Hicks is batting.318 after Friday and is enjoying a significant turnaround from a disappointing first season.

"I was in such a hurry to get the breaking stuff going, it kind of snowballed real quick", Tillman said.

The 28-year-old Tanaka is 5-6 with a 6.55 ERA in 12 starts this season. NY (35-23) has won three straight, outscoring rivals Boston and Baltimore 25-3 over the last three nights, to equal a season high at 12 games over.500.

NY has gone eight straight games without allowing a hit with a runner in scoring position.

Jonathan Schoop hit a two-run homer but the Orioles mustered five hits and none after the fifth inning.

Lucroy had three of the Rangers' 13 hits, including a two-run homer and RBI single.

The assault was the third attack in three months in which most of the assailants had been on authorities' radar at some point. At the time of the London Bridge attacks, Zaghba had been working in a London restaurant and was in touch with his mother.

"He had a nice assortment of pitches he was able to throw for strikes", Baltimore slugger Mark Trumbo said.

ATLANTA - Yoenis Cespedes hit a grand slam in his return from a six-week stint on the disabled list and NY beat Atlanta in the first game of a doubleheader.

"It really comes down to the mechanics", Tanaka said.

"You can't ask for any more than what these guys are doing", Girardi said "Sevy's on the mound tomorrow, so let's try to let it continue". He's been throwing really well too.

Severino is coming off a tough no-decision Sunday in Toronto. He lost for the fourth time in his last five starts despite allowing three earned runs or less for the 12th time.

Montgomery (4-4) won his second straight start after laboring through 4 1/3 innings at Baltimore on May 29. Rubén Tejada opened the inning with a leadoff double and moved to third on Joey Rickard's sacrifice bunt - the Orioles' third sacrifice in 59 games. Luis Severino continued to make a strong case for an All-Star bid, allowing one run and two hits in seven innings.

The Yankees have put up 41 runs over their last four games. Castro and Judge both homered on Saturday, combining for six hits, five runs and seven RBI. He issued a season-high four walks and threw 103 pitches to a season-high 27 hitters.

"The Yankees and Orioles have already met 3 times this season". Hicks made the Yankees' catch of the night, snaring Adam Jones' swiftly-dropping liner to finish off Tyler Clippard's 1-2-3 eighth, before Austin Romine smacked a bases-loaded, two-run single in the bottom of the frame to finish the scoring.

Brett Gardner and Matt Holliday homered off Tillman, who had not allowed a homer until that point.

NY has not announced a spot starter for Sunday. Chris Tillman, still looking for a good outing, starts for the O's.

Aaron Judge, Gary Sanchez and the rest of Yankees young sluggers are locked in and scoring in bunches.
