Emotional Prince William takes Kate, George and Charlotte to Princess Diana's grave

Posted July 05, 2017

Prince William and Catherine "Kate" Middleton, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, are due to visit multiple sites commemorating Holocaust victims and the tragedies of World War II during an upcoming tour of Germany and Poland, Kensington Palace announced Monday.

The rededication is just one of many events scheduled ahead of the 20th anniversary of Diana's death.

After they made hearts melt during the royal visit to Canada past year, Prince George and Princess Charlotte are set to join their parents on another overseas trip later this month. "Twenty years on I still feel the love she gave us and that is testament to her massive heart and her unbelievable ability to be a great mother". Earl Spencer kept her buried at this private location, in part, so that William and Harry could visit her more easily without being under the public eye.

Previously, just weeks ago, Harry spoke out about his mother's passing in a rare interview.

At the time of their mother's death following a auto accident in Paris, William was 15-years-old, and Harry was 12-years-old.

'I don't think any child should be asked to do that, under any circumstances. "Charles, 9th Earl Spencer, brother of the late Diana, Princess of Wales, gives his exclusive US interview, providing personal and touching stories of his beloved older sister set to archival and home movie footage of Diana from her childhood through her adult life. I don't think it would happen today". At the time of her death, #Prince William was 15, and Prince Harry was three years younger. Speaking to Newsweek for a profile published this month, Harry said his grief at her death still haunts him. Her brother, Charles, will renovate the area and plant forget-me-nots and rhododendrons because they were her favorite flowers.

Diana's older sisters - Lady Sarah McCorquodale, 60, and 62-year-old Baroness Fellowes - also attended yesterday's ceremony.

In recognition of the 20th anniversary of Diana's death, the Diana Award is celebrating her compassion, kindness, and service for an entire year. It will be placed in the gardens of Kensington Palace, where she lived as a royal. The charity was established to promote the positive power of young people, something in which William and Harry's mother believed in strongly.
