2 infants die in separate hot-car incidents in Phoenix

Police say Josiah was discovered dead only after his father drove round trip, twice, between the apartment complex and the church to drop off the mother and a sibling.

Two babies have have lost their lives to hot vehicle deaths in the Phoenix area in the past two days, according to officials.

The incident appears to be an accident, Subervi said.

On Saturday, medical responders arrived at the Free Church of God in Christ parking lot on the southside of Phoenix, where they found an unconscious 1-year-old boy inside a vehicle.

Phoenix Fire arrived and the 1-year-old boy was pronounced dead on scene.

She said, she had come to the church to support the family and mentioned hearing about the other baby that had died similarly on Friday.

Zane's death is being investigated by Pheonix Police while detectives from Mesa probe Josiah's death. "Yesterday, we had another incident like this. Again, look inside your vehicle before you put it in drive and before you go anywhere, so you can avoid these tragedies".

Tragically, this is the second deadly hot auto incident in just two days.

That came just one day after 7-month-old Zane Endress also died after after being left in a vehicle, the Arizona Republic reports.

Emergency personnel were called to the scene, a residential cul-de-sac near 44th Street and Greenway Road, at around 4pm.
