Paul Merson: Romelu Lukaku gets the best out of Henrikh Mkhitaryan

Legendary Swedish footballer, Zlatan Ibrahimovic is working hard to repay the faith of Manchester United and Jose Mourinho by putting in the hard graft as he looks to get his career back on track.

Ibrahimovic has committed himself to another year at Old Trafford after suffering a season-ending knee injury while playing against Anderlecht in the Europa League last term.

However, despite reports of the contrary during the window, Ibrahimovic re-signed for the Red Devils a matter of weeks later after successful rehab on his ankle injury which ruled him out of the back-end of last season.

Lukaku scored three times during pre-season, before later netting on his official debut in the UEFA Super Cup against Real Madrid and then scoring three more in his first two Premier League appearances for the club as the domestic 2017/18 kicked off.

The 35-year-old striker had been tipped to make his return to action January but his inclusion in United's squad for the Champions League group stage suggests he could be available before the New Year.

Realizing that the approval of the new package of sanctions was inevitable, Putin fired back even before Trump signed the measure. Congressional investigators first asked Cohen for records in May, and lawmakers had expected him to testify in September.

Lukaku was quoted as saying by Belgian daily Het Laatste Nieuws: "When Mourinho called me in NY [in the last week of June], we talked for an hour". I think Zlatan is going to bring us a lot.

Last season, Manchester United were focused on one thing.

United start their Champions League campaign with a home game against Basel on September 12.

United will kick off the Champions League campaign at home to Basel on Tuesday 12 September.

United have won three out of three in the Premier League and hope Zlatan come quickly to help spearhead our attack in tandem with Lukaku.
