When you play a video game, you typically don't think about the thousands of hours and tons of sweat and tears that go into making that product. While plenty of people's first introduction to the series might have been the third installment, The Witcher series has actually been going for nigh on ten years. To celebrate the occasion, developer CD Projekt Red has created a special video that visits him at his Corvo Bianco vineyard in Tousannt, which was given to Geralt in the Blood and Wine expansion. The video shows characters from The Witcher universe such as Ciri, Yennifer and Dandelion amongst others gathered around a table playing Gwent eating food, and just being merry while Geralt narrates in the background.

While all three games in the trilogy were well-received, it's fair to say that the series has matured well. Because who doesn't want Geralt speaking to you, the player? Each game improved on the last, and the third and final game won countless "Game of the Year" awards and is frequently touted as one of the best gaming experiences in years. After all, they are what made this series so popular and loved. Based on a series of books from Polish author Andrzej Sapkowski, The Witcher series of games helped put CD Projekt RED on the map.
