Iran's elite Revolutionary Guard on Sunday publicly displayed the country's sophisticated Russian-made S-300 air defense system in central Tehran for the first time.

Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei has condemned US President Donald Trump's latest hostile comments against the Iranian nation at the UN General Assembly.

Iran said on Saturday that it had successfully tested a new medium-range missile in defiance of warnings from Washington that such activities were grounds for abandoning their landmark nuclear deal.

"Whether you like it or not we are going to help Syria, Yemen and Palestine, and we will strengthen our missiles".

On Saturday (23 September), the U.S. president tweeted: "Iran just test-fired a Ballistic Missile capable of reaching Israel. They are also working with North Korea. Not much of an agreement we have!" This text is supposed to ensure strictly civilian and peaceful iranian nuclear program, in exchange for gradual lifting of sanctions against Tehran.

Iran would "not seek permission from any country for producing various kinds of missile", he added.

Toys "R" Us files for bankruptcy protection due to debt, relentless competition
Toys "R" Us is the second-largest toy seller in the U.S. behind Amazon, according to consulting firm Kloster Trading Corp. It is a sub-licensee of Toys " R" Us (Asia), which is not part of the court-supervised financial restructuring.

The release and launch of the missile comes shortly after a speech by US President Donald Trump at the UN General Assembly in which he directly attacked the Islamic Republic.

Rouhani was quoted by Press TV as saying during the military parade on Friday: "We will promote our defensive and military power as much as we deem necessary".

"There is no doubt that Iran is in the ascendancy in the geopolitical battle for influence in the Middle East. Iran's ongoing efforts to boost its ballistic missile capabilities will only heighten the sense of insecurity among regional rivals", he said.

Tehran has always argued the tests are exclusively for protective reasons plus notes Security Councils-measure merely pertains to missiles created specifically to transport atomic war-heads. Britain, China, France, Germany and Russian Federation are parties to the pact.

Trump has criticized the nuclear deal and said it must be strengthened, or the USA could walk away.

In doing so, he validated North Korea's repeated assertion that it fears that the United States is out to "totally destroy North Korea", and therefore is justified to squander its scant resources to develop nuclear bombs and ballistic missiles. "As North Korea continues to improve its ability to do longer-range missiles and to put nuclear weapons on those missiles, it is very unlikely if they get that capability that they wouldn't share it with lots of folks".
