Mall Of America Stabbing: Robber Knives 2, Suspect In Custody

Two men were stabbed in the Mall of America in Minnesota on Sunday and it had many conservatives asking an important question.

When he left the fitting room to show the clothes to the other people in his party, Abdirahaman entered the fitting room to steal his belongings, Potts said.

Abdirahaman, who is now being held on two counts of probable cause first-degree assault, was pictured in his mugshot bruised and bloodied.

The victim was stabbed, and started to yell for help. The suspect, 20-year-old Mahad Abdiaziz Abdiraham, of Minneapolis, was attempting to rob one of the men of personal belongings, police said.

Bloomington police told of the commotion taking place at the first-floor dressing room area of the Macy's department store.

Chief Potts says the victim interrupted the theft and the suspect pulled a knife on him.

When the victim returned to the fitting room, he confronted Abdirahaman, who stabbed him, according to police.

While the Macy's store closed early, the Mall of America stayed open and was not placed on lockdown.

It all went down around 6:45 p.m. Sunday in Bloomington. Police said the injuries to the two victims were not life-threatening.
