Charles Manson being treated in California hospital, according to TMZ

Charles Manson, a mass killer from the 1960s who led his cult of followers down a path of anarchy and murder, is facing life-threatening ailments at a California hospital, USA Today reported Thursday. "It's just a matter of time (until he finally dies)". He would not confirm whether Manson was at a medical facility.

We're told Manson was rushed to a Bakersfield hospital 3 days ago, and has been wheeled around on a gurney for various treatments. escorted by 5 uniformed cops.

Along with members of his "family", the cult leader was convicted for killing seven people, including actress Sharon Tate, who was 8 1/2 months pregnant.

As the head of the Manson Family, Manson brainwashed his followers with visions of "Helter Skelter", an apocalyptic race war that he believed was imminent, based on his interpretation of the Bible and lyrics on The Beatles' White Album.
