Dimitrov thanks Scherzinger for giving him the X Factor at ATP Finals

The season-ending extravaganza ATP Finals at London's O2 ends another memorable year which will be covered via our website www.skysports.com/tennis with live blogs and updates as the season reaches its climax. At 3-0 in the second set, Goffin was digging his heels into the game.

Federer got onto the scoreboard in the second set with a relatively carefree service hold but his level certainly dropped as compared to the opening 30 minutes of the match. Came up with some pretty insane shots in the third set at some inopportune (moments) for myself.

Former world number one Roger Federer, who had an unbelievable form on the court throughout the year but received a season-end defeat from David Goffin in the semi-final match of the ATP World Tour Finals, has said he couldn't wait to get back on the court in Australia. For the first time in the encounter, the underdog finally made his first breakthrough on the return after Federer came up with several unusual errors on his forehand and Goffin took an early 2-0 lead with an excellent passing forehand.

This was certainly a different Goffin; forcing Federer to counterattack with attack. "I didn't serve as accurate as I should have in the second set".

Down 0-3, Jack saved a crucial break point hitting a fast forehand, then he started to be more consistent and solid and broke back his opponent. I don't know what worked for me in this match.

In spite of the overwhelming score line, Carreno Busta didn't actually play badly, but instead, all credit to Dimitrov who displayed a near-perfect performance.

Goffin is 1-3 against Dimitrov, who has won all four of his matches this week and is playing perhaps the best tennis of his career. I think I just, after that break, that breakpoint at 3-0 in the first set, I think was a little bit of a turning point I felt for him.

Pakistan's Mohammad Hazeef suspended by ICC for illegal bowling action
Just a couple of months later, however, he was reported again during the Galle Test against Sri Lanka. In April 2015, his bowling action was passed as legal by the governing body.

"Now I want to go and play some golf".

"I was very composed with myself, I didn't let any negative thoughts come into my head".

Dimitrov held confidently and then broke when Sock mishit a rally ball.

By now, Sock had won more games than Dimitrov had relinquished in his previous two games combined.

Jack Sock booked a place in the semifinals of the ATP Finals with a surprise 6-4, 1-6, 6-4 win over German Alexander Zverev.

As the tension mounted, Goffin saved three match points on his own serve but Dimitrov held his nerve to seal the match on his fifth opportunity.

He was the better player early on, using his pinpoint accuracy to keep Dimitrov under control.
