Natural disaster -5.5 Hits PARTS OF NORTH INDIA

Strong tremors were felt in Delhi and the National Capital Region (NCR) on Wednesday at 8:50 pm. According to the Centre for Seismology quake was of magnitude 5.5 and was reported in Rudraprayag city of Uttarakhand and there were tremors in different parts of the country. However, initial reports suggested that the epicentre of the natural disaster was in Uttarakhand.

A moderate natural disaster hit India's northern state of Uttarakhand on Wednesday, officials said.

Uttarakhand, a part of the Himalayan region, falls under a high seismic zone.

Two students shot outside Graham-Kapowsin High School, sheriff's office says
Pierce County Sheriff's Department spokesman Ed Troyer said it was not believed the suspects were from the area. While one student was found in the parking lot near the football field, the other was found in a locker room.

Earlier today, a 3.5 magnitude quake hit Rajkot, Rapar districts of Gujarat.

As per media reports Vibrations were also felt in Himachal Pradesh's Shimla, Kullu and Mandi, and some parts of Punjab and Haryana. Reports said panic-stricken people rushed out of their houses and buildings to gather in open streets.
