Microsoft is expanding its Xbox Game Pass subscription service

Posted January 25, 2018

The expansion will make Xbox Game Pass more popular, and it will come at the expense of the sale of physical titles that GameStop needs to grease its ecosystem. Going forward, all first-party Xbox One games will be available as part of the Xbox Game Pass service from the day they launch. It's always been a neat little extra, but as of this week it's evolving into something much more useful.

Microsoft (NASDAQ:MSFT) is expanding its Game Pass option for Xbox owners, adding new first-party games to the digital smorgasbord the same day that they hit the market.

This means games like Sea of Thieves, Crackdown 3, and even State of Decay 2 will all be available to Xbox Game Pass subscribers on the day of release.

Kemba Walker on reports that Charlotte Hornets are open to trading him
If the Hornets trade away Walker, most people in this town will either be apathetic about the Hornets or simply ignore them. Look, as I mentioned in my previous piece on Kemba Walker , I would absolutely LOVE to have him in a Jazz uniform.

It appears it was unclear for many that Xbox Play Anywhere titles can also be played on Windows 10 PC for Xbox Game Pass members, but Microsoft's Xbox marketing head has now clarified this. While details about a possible Halo 6 are slim and no new Forza or Gears of War games have been officially announced, it gives fans hope that something big is coming for each in the future. We've listened to our community and are excited to be bringing this new console to Indian gamers.

"We firmly believe Xbox Game Pass will be a catalyst to create new opportunities for game developers and publishers to innovate in the way games are developed and delivered, leading to entirely new ways to play". The retail stores of Landmark, Croma and more than 100 gaming specialty stores of India will as well have the console. The new game console is taking on the Sony PlayStation 4 Pro and offers a 4K gaming experience.

Xbox One X can be purchased online in India from Flipkart, Amazon and (naturally) Microsoft India store.
