LA Rams sign former Miami Dolphins DT Ndamukong Suh for $14M

There has been a substantial amount of interest in free-agent defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh since the Dolphins made a decision to release him at the beginning of the new league year.

The Rams reached agreement with Suh on a one-year contract, the team announced from the owners meetings in Orlando, Florida, on Monday.

See how Twitter reacted to the signing. Suh is a five-time Pro-Bowler and a three-time All-Pro.

Jets owner Christopher Johnson told reporters at the National Football League owners meetings in Orlando on Sunday that the team has withdrawn its offer to the free-agent defensive tackle. But Johnson, in charge of the Jets while his brother, primary owner Woody Johnson, serves as ambassador to the United Kingdom, indicated the team is comfortable having the room to afford big-ticket players next year. NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported that Gang Green had the biggest offer on the table for the former Lion and Dolphin. Suh's addition to a Rams defensive front that already features arguably the most dominant defensive player in the game in Aaron Donald has the potential to make LA into a legit Super Bowl contender. GM Les Snead said Sunday.

The aircraft producer reported $4.80 earnings per share for the quarter, beating analysts' consensus estimates of $2.91 by $1.89. The (Simple Month Average) SMA20 is at -7.75 percent, its SMA50 Value is -6.87% and SMA200 value is reported as 18.11 Percent.

Suh should relish the chance to continue elevating his star in Los Angeles.

Though Johnson wouldn't say it outright, it appears the Jets saw that as a ploy by Suh to get other teams - the Rams, Titans and Saints are his strongest suitors - to up their offers. He'll certainly have his hands full in two games against the Rams in 2018 with Suh and Donald playing along the interior.

"We came away impressed with just the human being", McVay said of the visit. We went through our process with him.
