In a letter seen by Reuters, Infantino, who has already overseen the enlargement of the existing World Cup from 32 to 48 teams starting in 2026, suggested that the new tournament would take place every October and/or November of every odd year starting from 2021.
The call comes as world football's governing body FIFA prepares to choose between the US-led joint bid and Morocco's at a vote in Moscow on June 13.
"There's still some work to be done", Infantino said. "And we know how important of course the last weeks are to fine-tune the little elements which are still missing".
"We understand our responsibility, we understand that much still needs to be done. all the events are still ahead", Putin told Infantino in a separate meeting on Thursday, adding Russian Federation will do "all in its power" to ensure that the tournament meets the highest standards.
The tournaments would be projected to generate $25bn (£17.9bn) in revenue.
Upcoming iPhone looks more like Android clone than iPhone X
The information mentions that the company could use the Cover Glass Sensor technology for all of its iPhone releases next year. Popular and uncannily reliable Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has issued a rather grave prediction for the iPhone series of 2018.
On September 9 a year ago, Russian President Vladimir Putin and FIFA President Gianni Infantino kicked off the first phase of the tour, which saw the trophy visit 16 Russian cities before it moved on to its global tour in January.
Jordaan also promised the Moroccan bid that he will be personally engaged in attracting support from the Council of Southern Africa Football Associations (COSAFA). The new competition would run parallel to existing worldwide tournaments such as the European Championship, Copa America, and African Nations Cup, plus the World Cup qualifying stages.
Putin said he hoped the Russian team would perform well.
"We all very much hope that our players will commit themselves to the game, will give all they got, playing to their full potential, And the most important thing, they must show hard-nosed, uncompromising football, one which the fans love", said Putin.
