LeBron James: Top 5 playoff performances

Posted May 11, 2018

LeBron has shown us that not only is he one of the best players of all-time, but could instead end up as the greatest player of all-time in the sport of basketball.

The Cavaliers and LeBron James are coasting, having just swept the No. 1-seeded Toronto Raptors on Monday night, waiting to find out who they'll face between the Sixers-Celtics.

The Philadelphia 76ers have been strongly linked with a move for George or James with the idea the latter may be interested in staying in the Eastern Conference. The Celtics don't have anyone healthy who can play at the caliber of DeRozan or Indiana's Victor Oladipo.

As of Thursday, James was following 181 people on Twitter - including Kyrie Irving, Chris Paul and Stephen Curry - but Tatum was not one of them.

"It's just trying to save pockets of energy throughout, especially the second half, when I know it's going to be a possession game", James said.

It looks like his matchup with IN is going to be his toughest of his run to the Finals, unless Boston can pull some unforeseen magic out of nowhere. Obviously, we know LeBron is this good. The Lakers are reportedly still the favorites to land LeBron James this summer, despite the Cavaliers' success in the playoffs.

On stage were representatives of 19 countries, but only ten of them will fight in the final, which will take place this Saturday. Other acts in the first semi-final expected to do well include Estonia's Elina Nechayeva and Eleni Foureira from Cyprus .

"I used to watch LeBron on TV growing up, and now I'm playing my first game against him", Tatum said before October's season opener, smiling as he remembered his daydreams of one day matching up with James in the league.

So how will it look this year, with Jayson Tatum, Aron Baynes and Marcus Morris added to the mix? The Boston Celtics shouldn't be in this position.

In a series locked at two games a piece with the Detroit Pistons, James strung together 25 straight points and 29 of the Cavs' last 30 points to close out the game. Though, Jordan didn't have to worry about the stress of a competitive postseason run.

But, which game-winning shot was the most impressive? After overhauling their roster at the National Basketball Association trade deadline, the Cavaliers were ostensibly the most vulnerable they had been since James' return to the franchise in the summer of 2014 after four seasons and two titles with the Miami Heat. Considering Boston has four players scoring 16.2 points per game or better through 11 playoff games, it'll stretch Cleveland's defense thin.

"I'm creating a super team right now here on The Jump", McGrady said nearly tongue in cheek.

So clinical and Picasso-like master pieces were his quiet disposition that in most of yesterday's fourth quarter minutes, when Cleveland was building 20-plus leads, Cleveland Coach Ty Lue found the luxury to rest his majesty, King James.
