The 21-year-old wide receiver was selected 47th overall by the Cardinals in the 2018 NFL Draft nearly two months later.

Kirk, a Scottsdale native and Arizona's second-round pick in this year's draft, was a standout wide receiver at Texas A&M for three seasons.

According to the report from the Scottsdale Police Department, Kirk and Carter McCarthy, both 21, were booked and released on the night of February 3 for throwing rocks at auto windows.

The article citing the incident points out that new Cardinals Head Coach Steve Wilks went out of his way during his post-draft press conference to emphasize the importance of character in their new draft class, which included reportedly hard quarterback Josh Rosen.

According to TMZ Sports, the officer wrote the following in the police report: "I further noticed the grinding movement of his jaw and continued blank stare".

Vegas' players have been penalized only 3.4 times per game in total this season, and 4.7 per game over their last ten outings. Vegas also boasts two potent lines but is capable of rolling four unsafe lines to balance the scoring across 12 forwards.

Kirk has been charged with criminal damage.

Witnesses reported seeing the men throwing rocks in the parking lot for the golf tournament held at TPC Scottsdale.

A Cardinals spokesman said the team was aware of the incident prior to drafting Kirk.

According to Scottsdale Police: "The suspects were intoxicated and leaving the WMPO. Our understanding is that the process will be resolved in the near future but while it remains an active legal matter, we won't comment further", the franchise said in a statement.

Temptations will always be there, but they aren't worth the trouble.
