Pathetic hack journalist Don Lemon of CNN conducted an interview with National Basketball Association superstar LeBron James over the weekend in which both men engaged in direct and indirect attacks on President Donald Trump. Trump also attempted to needle James by appearing to claim a preference for Michael Jordan, to whom the former Cavaliers star is often compared in greatest-ever debates. "He's doing an awesome job for his community".

CNN's Don Lemon spoke to James at the school and the interview included a negative assessment of the president, whom James said has "kind of used sports to kind of divide us". He added the hashtag #BeBest, a reference to Melania Trump's anti-bullying initiative.

Trump himself has not publicly acknowledged her comments, although he avoided mentioning James during a stump speech delivered in the National Basketball Association star's home state of Ohio.

Maybe watching him engage in a Twitter feud with Trump isn't the battle we envisioned, but it would certainly entertain the sports world.
