Nevertheless, the tapes have only deepened a pre-existing sense of paranoia among Trump staffers, according to senior administration officials, fueling an underlying suspicion that everyone inside the West Wing is out for themselves. Earlier, Manigault Newman released a tape of chief of staff John Kelly doing the firing in the White House Situation Room. People in the White House hated her.
'As a personal favor to Pecker, Donald agreed to call me and talk me out of the lawsuit, but I was so angry they'd portrayed me as someone who'd seek publicity over my dead brother's body that I was reluctant to drop it, ' Omarosa writes. "I've NEVER ONCE - EVER - have heard him say the disgusting & awful word that the Opportunistic Wacky Omarosa claims", wrote Dan Scavino, Trump's longtime social media director.
When Matthews asked her if the source who recorded this video was a Democrat, she said she didn't have information regarding the person's political affiliation.
Chief of Staff John Kelly fired Omarosa 11 months into the Trump administration - an event the OH native has come under intense fire for recording surreptitiously in the Situation Room.
"So now we have one liar [Omarosa] who admits she lied in the past claiming she's telling the truth now about the liar [Trump] she worked for, and a third liar, [Cohen] who's under investigation for lying, who taped the first liar [Trump] to prove he wasn't lying, said the second liar [Omarosa] was lying about the first liar [Trump]", Meyers said.
Newman claimed in her new book that a tape of the president existed that featured him saying the n-word. "That discussion was nothing other than sifting through unconfirmed rumors regarding the Apprentice tape".
Omarosa Manigault Newman's new book comes with an explosive title.

In a series of interviews, Ms Manigault Newman has also revealed two audio recordings from her time at the White House, including portions of a recording of her firing by chief of staff John Kelly, which she says occurred in the high-security Situation Room, and a phone call with Mr Trump after she was sacked.
She continued: "Look, I haven't been in every room".
"If he would say that publicly, what else would he say about me privately?" she asked during an interview with MSNBC.
Trump officials and a number of outside critics denounced the recordings as a serious breach of ethics and security - and White House aides anxious about what else Manigault Newman may have captured in the West Wing.
And that, she said, is more evidence of how Trump treats black people.
Manigault Newman followed Trump into politics.
Trump on Monday denied the existence of any tape from "The Apprentice" in which he used the racial epithet. He followed that comment up on Monday with a Twitter tirade of insults directed at Newman who he said "begged" him for a job with tears in her eyes.
"I can't guarantee anything, but I can tell you that the President addressed this question directly".
She added that the remarks were made in reference to Kwame Jackson, an African American contestant on the show.
Manigault Newman's exit does highlight the lack of diversity among Trump's top aides.
