The combined total collection of both the film is Rs 45 crore.

By looking at the current scenario, we are expecting both the films to enter the Rs 100 crore club at the box office.

A source close to film's producers said about Satyameva Jayate's box office performance on Independence Day, "The film opened at Rs 19.75 crore despite having the heavyweight Gold releasing simultaneously". According to trade analyst Taran Adarsh, the movie collected Rs 8 crore on the second day of its release.

John Abraham starrer Satyameva Jayate clashed with Akshay Kumar and Mouni Roy starrer Gold at the box office and both the movies had a great opening on Independence Day. The first day box office earnings of T-Series and Emmay Entertainment produced Satyameva Jayate, Rs 20.52 Cr has proved tradesmiths wrong.

The recording, which is yet to be verified, reportedly depicts President Trump unaware that Ms Manigault Newman had been fired. At the same time, she seems to believe the White House could plan on making life hard for her.

Starting with Gold, the historical sports drama took a gigantic start with a collection of Rs 25.25 crore on its first day.

Despite an opening of over Rs 18 crore, John Abraham-starrer showed a noticeable dip in small screen circuits, boxofficeindia stated.

Satyameva Jayate pulled off plenty of stunts in its box-office debut on Independence Day - and not just the ones featuring its leading man, John Abraham's Vir, a scud missile of a man who goes on a vigilante spree across Mumbai, ritualistically murdering crooked cops. "The release being on a midweek holiday followed by a partial holiday in some areas for Parsi holiday then the weekend and again a public holiday on August 22nd has worked well for the releases", Mohan added.
