Nigel Newby-House, the vice president of product planning for HTC America, says that the company hopes to introduce people to this new experience with the U11 and it will expand the Edge Sense features in the future once we're all used to gorilla gripping the sides of our phones to do things. Further, HTC U 11 will feature a 5.5-inch display WQHD display with a resolution of 2560×1440 pixel.
Packed with Qualcomm's latest processor, HTC U11 comes with a 4GB of RAM, 64GB of storage with support for microSD cards, and a 3,000mAh battery. This allows you to launch apps, the camera, take photos and more with a squeeze or two of the phone's edges.
The latest teaser about 360 "real-life" recording was an apparent reference to the 3D Audio Recording capability in the phone. The rear camera is a 12MP UltraPixel 3 unit f/1.7 aperture, optical image stabilisation, a dual-LED flash, and 4K video recording. The phone has a USB type C port, Bluetooth, WiFi, NFC, and HTC Connect built in. The U11 will feature in four colours in a chrome finish: unbelievable silver, sapphire blue, ice black and solar red. As the rumors gave it to think, the HTC U 11 takes again the design of the HTC U Play and U Ultra presented at the beginning of the year. HTC U11 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 mobile platform and comes in two storage variants.
John Oliver blasts Donald Trump for Comey firing
In case you hadn't heard, Donald Trump fired FBI Director James Comey last Tuesday after ordering Attorney General Jeff Sessions and Deputy AG Rod Rosenstein to write letters arguing for his dismissal.
Holding the phone and taking a selfie with a squeeze feels more intuitive than you might think and, with your hand fully gripping its edges, it certainly means you're less likely to drop it on the floor. From the outside, the phone looks almost identical to that of the HTC U Ultra, with a super-glossy mirror finish on the back in multiple colors. Furthermore, HTC is going beyond squeezing as the feature also enables Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa. It works even when you are wearing the gloves though you have to be careful to apply the same amount of pressure each time to have the desired result. In terms of colors, it looks like the flagship smartphone will be available in at least three different color options. The manufacturers housed the device with artificial intelligence which they named as HTC Sense Companion.
A 12 megapixel main camera is in tow and features HDR and quick autofocus. We can only comment on the practicality once we try it out, however.
HTC U11 will be available in five colours including Solar Red, Amazing Silver, Brilliant Black, Ice White and Sapphire Blue and will be released in some markets this week, while others will get it in June.
